Neal Ater - CEO
With more than 25 years of storage and systems management software experience, Neal Ater has managed product development, R&D and business operations for startups and Global 2000 environments of major software companies. Ater’s previous storage software experience includes executive-level positions at both Seagate Software and VERITAS Software. His entrepreneurial expertise includes two highly successful startup ventures: Goal Systems International, a leading mainframe systems management provider, and OnDemand Software, an industry-leading developer of software distribution products. Most recently, Ater was CEO of Storactive where he led the company to a dominant market position in continuous data protection and through a successful merger with Atempo.

Jon Foster - Senior Vice President Global Operations and Corporate Development
Prior to joining Atempo, Jon Foster served as CFO of Keymage, a venture-backed enterprise software company based in Paris and the Silicon Valley. Before that, Foster served as Senior Vice President of Corporate Development and General Counsel of 8x8, Inc., a publicly-traded provider of software and semiconductors for VoIP applications. Prior to joining 8x8, Foster was a deputy director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy and before that was as an attorney with the law firm of Crowell & Moring. Foster holds a mechanical engineering degree from Yale University and a law degree from Harvard Law School.

Mark Sutter – Chief Technology Officer and Vice President, Engineering
Mark Sutter has over 25 years of experience managing the development of leading   edge products and services in the storage, systems, and networking industries, both with established market leaders and with early stage startups. He has held executive engineering and product management positions at VERITAS Software, Seagate Software, CreekPath Systems, NetLabs, and Network Equipment Technologies, and began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories. Mark has also acted as an interim executive and strategic advisor to a variety of high-tech companies in the storage, software-as-a-service, and IT service provider markets. Mark holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering Science from The Pennsylvania State University and a master’s degree in Operations Research from Stanford University.

Karim Toubba - Vice President, Marketing and Product Management
Mr. Toubba is responsible for global product and marketing strategy at Atempo. Prior to joining Atempo, he was the Vice President of Marketing & Business Development at Redseal Systems, a leader in the Security Risk Management space. Prior to that, Mr. Toubba served as Vice President of Product Management and Corporate Strategy at Ingrian Networks where he was responsible for product and corporate strategy and was instrumental in the turn around of the company into the leader in the application and database encryption market. Mr. Toubba has held executive roles at Exodus, a Cable & Wireless company, where he was responsible for the $500 million Exodus integrated network, hosting, CDN, and managed services business. Previously, he held various management and individual contributor positions at Digital Island, Whistle Communications, and Netmanage.

Fabrice de Salaberry - Vice President EMEA Sales and General Manager for Atempo S.A.
Fabrice de Salaberry is responsible for driving Atempo’s enterprise and channel sales for EMEA. De Salaberry joined Atempo in 1998 and has been instrumental in increasing Atempo’s market share and visibility in France and across Europe as Central European Sales Director and Vice President of Strategic Business. Prior to joining Atempo, de Salaberry held the position of Director of Sales for France at Software AG, a German-based leading provider of system software and services enabling enterprise data integration and management. De Salaberry is a graduate of Ecole Supérieure de Commerce des Arts et Métiers in Paris and holds a masters degree in marketing from CNAM.

François Gauthier - Vice President, Strategic Alliances and Business Development
François Gauthier has an 18-year proven track record in high-tech P&L leadership and management, both in large corporations and small, private start-ups. He has specific experience, both technical and marketing, of the storage market acquired at Bull as head of the Storage BU and at Neartek as COO. Gauthier holds an MS in Computer Science and Electrical Engineering ('Diplôme d'Ingénieur') from Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité (SUPELEC) in France and an MBA from INSEAD Business School of Fontainebleau, France.

Paul Walman - Vice President, Finance
Paul Walman has a 12 years track record of financial management experience in the      professional service industry as well as in the software industry, both with mature companies and with start-ups. Before joining Atempo, he served as the Finance Director of the European operations of ICG-Commerce. Paul also served in finance positions at Baan Company and Attachmate. Paul holds a masters degree in Business Economics from the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.
